Our clinical staff is fortunate to include Licensed Speech Therapist Cindy Shpherd, M.A., CCC-SLP, CBIS.  She provides speech and language therapy services for pediatric, adult and geriatric populations.  She will be available to see new patients with auditory processing disorders, aphasia, developmental delays, effects of traumatic brain injuries, executive dysfunction, language processing disorders and more.  She will also be starting an Organizational Skills Training Program for children and adolescents with ADHD (learn more here: Organizational Skills).

Cindy began her work with individuals with communication disorders in December 1980.  She has provided therapy services in the public schools, a residential facility for individuals with intellectual disabilities, early intervention programs, and an outpatient rehabilitation clinic.   In those settings, Cindy has provided therapy services to the preschool through geriatric populations.  Cindy specializes in therapy for auditory processing disorders, aphasia, traumatic brain injury, cognitive rehabilitation, childhood language disorders, speech apraxia, executive function deficits, and language processing disorders.
